Sanky takes to the streets for youth homelessness!

One of the most rewarding parts of working at Sanky is knowing that we're helping to make a difference for such a diverse range of causes. This month, one of us will be taking to the streets, quite literally, to help a client.

Covenant House is holding its annual "Sleep Out: Executive Edition" on November 21st to fight against youth homelessness, The event is a gathering of business leaders, who spend one night sleeping on the streets to raise money and awareness about this very common but often overlooked issue. Guess who one of the participants will be this year?

Paul Habig…Sanky's EVP and Creative Director!

Over the years, Paul has had a chance to visit Covenant House's shelters and meet many of the kids— so knowing the impact Covenant House has on these kids' lives made participating in the Sleep Out a no-brainer for him.

Last year, over $3,000,000 was raised to support Covenant House's life-saving programs, and they're hoping this year can be even more successful. Paul's individual goal is to raise $5,000. So far, he's at a little over $1,500— but he needs help to go all the way!

Here's what Paul had to say about the event:

I'm proud to participate in the 2013 Sleep Out to raise awareness and life-saving funds for homeless kids. This symbolic gesture pales in comparison to a day in the life of a homeless kid; however, I hope it inspires you to support my campaign, so we can help Covenant House save more children in need. Anything you can do to help me in this effort would be greatly appreciated.

If you're inspired and would like to pitch in, visit Paul's Covenant House Sleep Out page. He doesn't have much time left, so act fast if you can!
