As Africa’s leading wildlife and land conservation organization, African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) wanted to communicate the severity of the escalating poaching crisis in a new and fresh way.

So how do we take a complex international situation and make it personal, while also inspiring people to give? We told them a story.

The digital and print formats of our storybook told the same harrowing narrative: what the world would look like if we stood by and did nothing to protect Africa’s wildlife.
