Almost time for NTC!

Update: We had an incredible time during our March 13th session — it was a joy getting to meet all of you who were in attendance! If you weren’t able to make it or just want another look at what we covered, check out our presentation slides here.

The annual Non Profit Technology Conference (NTC) is coming up in just a few weeks and those of us from Sanky who will be attending could not be more excited! This is one of our favorite conferences of the year — we get to indulge in our nerdiness and love for non-profit technology in the company of thousands of others with the same passions. Past conference sessions have been thought-provoking and topical, and the personal and professional connections made have been profound and lasting.

For those of you who may be attending for the first time, we look forward to seeing you at the conference. For those of you who are returning, we look forward to geeking out with you again — if you see “Sanky” on a lanyard, please stop us and say “hi” (and why not use the opportunity to snag some free fundraising advice?!).

You also won’t want to miss our fundraising session! The Sanky team will be joined by David Onate, Director of Marketing & Creative for African Wildlife Foundation, for a conversation on how to retain and develop lifelong relationships with your donors. AWF is a longstanding client of ours, so it’s sure to be an engaging session with concrete examples. Here are the details:

Session: Finders, Keepers: The Art of Donor Retention
Panel Members: Sanky President Paul Habig, Director of Account Services Laura Cole, David Onate, Director, Marketing & Creative, African Wildlife Foundation
Day: March 13, 2019
Time: 10:30 AM

This session will delve into the art of donor retention and explore common errors that result in donor attrition. You’ll walk away learning how to:

  • Avoid common pitfalls that hurt donor retention rates

  • Leverage technology to build donor relationships

  • Better understand and measure metrics to track churn and retention

We recommend downloading the NTC19 app where you can connect with us directly, view the agenda, and chat with other conference attendees. One final suggestion: check out the many social offerings at NTC like Dine Around (Portland is known for its gastropubs — and doughnuts!), Birds of a Feather and the Buddy Program.

We're excited to see many of you in Portland, rain or shine! Stay tuned for our live coverage of NTC in March. In the meantime, please let us know if you would like to connect at NTC or have any questions about the conference.
