Sanky Wins "Campaign of the Year"

Happy New Year! Okay, yes... we know. January is almost over and 2017 is already well underway. But we wanted to take a moment before any more time passed to share with you some very exciting news...

NonProfit Pro recently announced its winners for the 2016 Gold Awards and (drum roll please)... our work on Episcopal Relief & Development's "Gifts for Life" campaign has been awarded Campaign of the Year!

The Gold Awards for Fundraising Excellence identifies "the best, most memorable, most innovative fundraising campaigns" in our industry every year, and Sanky could not be more humbled to receive this highest of recognitions.

Campaign of the Year

From one of the 2016 judges:

"The comprehensive nature and attention to detail and planning on a truly well-engineered and executed multichannel campaign is exciting to see... The
results of this campaign speak to the depth of value the
engaged members of Episcopal Relief & Development have with the community."

"Gifts for Life" Holiday/Year-End campaign led with a 20-page, 4-color gift catalog which then translated into an online shopping cart experience. We mobilized giving through several targeted mailings, a targeted email series, social media, and SEM.

With such a robust multi-channel campaign, our team knew we would need to deliver a strong, consistent message across all mediums — and do so in a compelling way that would make it easy to engage with and donate to Episcopal Relief & Development's mission. We took great care to achieve all of the above with our creative, and hope the success of "Gifts for Life" speaks to these strategic efforts.

Sustainers/Monthly Giving Winner

And in case that wasn't enough, we also received a second Gold Award — winning the Sustainer/Monthly Giving category for Drug Policy Alliance's "The Reformers Club Election Campaign." This comprehensive digital campaign included a series of infographic and appeal-style emails, paired with corresponding web and social media graphics and a donation form. Our team leveraged timing (to coincide with the 2016 national election) and powerful messaging to successfully exceed the organization's membership goal for the year.

We're truly honored to be recognized for both of these campaigns in 2016. And you can bet that all of us here at Sanky are already working hard — from Creative to Tech to Accounts, alongside our incredible clients — to make the world better in the year ahead.
