When we heard about the African Wildlife Foundation’s newest anti-poaching initiative – working with canine detection units to sniff out illegal wildlife contraband – we knew we wanted to speak to the audience’s love of animals.
Stunning visuals, succinct copy and engaging icons on the landing page draw in users, inviting them to “meet” some of the sniffer dogs. This highlights the personal connection between not just dogs and their trainers, but also between these beloved canines and the audience.
And as a last ditch effort, we also deployed an exit modal – so when the user is about to leave the page, a little JavaScript triggers a pop-up modal directing them to make a gift on the campaign’s seamless donation form.
