Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) works to find lasting solutions to world poverty, hunger and disease. One of the ways they do so is through their Gifts for Life catalog, in which donors can purchase items like goats, pigs, clean water or microloans to help people change their lives for the better.
Because Christmas is such an important holiday for ERD, we develop their annual catalog around the Advent season. This year’s campaign was especially important — as it led up to the organization’s 75th anniversary — so we incorporated a timeline throughout the catalog to showcase some of their biggest milestones.
The catalog was sent to ERD’s list in conjunction with other direct mail pieces, including a brochure showcasing some of the most popular gifts, an insert about different ways parishes could support Gifts for Life and an Advent calendar to help them gauge their progress throughout December.
